Stuck deciding between writing an IEP, responding to email, giving a student your lunch time (and your lunch) and actually writing some curriculum for class? Again?
I taught secondary special ed for three years and we were constantly caught trying to decide if we should keep ourselves out of IEP Jail or if we should put together some worthwhile curriculum to teach our students. If there wasn't time during the day then we were taking time away from ourselves and our families at night and on the weekends. Collaboration is the salvation of the busy teacher.
